Anyways, had to park in front of hotel to get directions and was served pleasantly by staff. Parking lot is ok, good price and elevator right in front of hotels door.

Hotel physical look from the outside is very nice, historical and located in a great location. Lobby is very small and old, Staff are friendly and helpful as much as they can.

Price was ok for a hotel but what for I got which will be explained below, but charged for my baby sleeping in the room and not for the crib which wasn't offered to us.

You get a physical heavy key. Corridors are very aged and old smelly , a bit creepy to be honest. Now here starts the tragedy when entering the room..

Once the door is opened, on your right is the bathroom just door back to door and left is the shower both are not nice nor clean , the third door right in front of you that takes you to the room.

Whats shocking is that the room size is good but why the weird lay out im not sure. Room from inside, furniture is old, not nice, old cabinet, not comfy bed, sink in the room not bathroom.

Honestly, was a disaster. Breakfast, was average. Only good thing, staff are nice and location, ….

Pleasant and Perfectly Located. I stayed at this hotel for two nights while on a business trip to Bonn. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful especially because my college German is very rusty.

I was able to walk to the bridge that crosses the Rhine and to the other side where there is a lovely walking path very easily.

Also, the hotel is right on the Markt which, I believe, is the central square of the city. I happened upon the Christmas Market only blocks from the hotel.

That was a real treat! Breakfast was more than adequate even for me, a vegetarian. The only challenge was the size of my single room.

The room was comfortable, but quite small. There was not enough space for me to open my suitcase on the floor without hampering my ability move around the room without difficulty.

I stayed at the Stern for work and enjoyed my time. The hotel has small, comfortable rooms, although the beds are indeed small for a person of my height cm and the rooms don't offer much space, but this is to be expected.

Sink in the same room as the bed, fan only no air conditioning , and a small shower. This is all perfectly acceptable for a business trip and a hotel like this in Germany -- this is what you more or less expect at this price point.

The rooms are quiet and overlook the main square, which is lovely. You have access to the main walking area of Bonn, which is perfect.

This is the main shopping and dining area and the Stern is fronted by a number of cafes. Breakfast at the Stern is also shockingly good for a hotel like this.

There are a wider variety of options than I expected. The staff at the hotel are also very attentive and kind. We used their conference facilities which are also good.

I have no complaints with the Stern and can recommend it for business travelers on a budget. Wifi worked well.

There is no gym but they do offer access to a very large and well equipped private gym directly across the street, which is a wonderful option better than most hotels I've stayed at.
