So it's safe to assume it'll always be a summer release. Although it may have been kind of sad to hear of the news of the show's imminent ending so far in advance, it's actually quite an honor to receive such a notice.

Rather than being a well loved TV show that was forced to end abruptly, in outrage See: Brooklyn Nine Nine , the notice gives time for creators, writers, and producers to establish and construct a well-rounded storyline that will make fans beam with pride.

Love the comedy and chemistry between actors. However, the writing for the final season definitely felt like a final season — and now that I see they were aware it was the final season, I know why.

It was one big, long drawn out salute to everything we love about the show. Which was great but sad too. Please do not cancel this show.

There are too few decent sci-fi shows out there and so many more stories to be told in this series.

I is one of the best shows on Syfy channel. The way season 5 ended it lead one to believe there is more to come.

Jericho proved you can create a short "wrap up" season that may feel a little rushed, but at least provides some kind of respectful closure for fans.

Seriously with most of the tripe that is on television these days the channel should regard this as a necessary cornerstone as it sits apart in its genre.
